Purpose: This event is a therapy dog visit (with their handlers) where the Reading With Rover teams are available to students during finals study breaks. Finals week can be a stressful time and our Reading With Rover teams provide a positive outlet for the students. The students need our canine comfort as they study for finals. As you all know, spending time with our dogs provides a brief break in their daily lives, brings a smile to their face AND it also helps them retain a greater percentage of what they are studying – so we are helping them get better grades. We have kids from grades 5 – 12 attending.
Important Info: 4 – 6 Experienced Badged In Person Teams Only (must have finished Protocol hours)
Masks: Optional for Teams
Sanitizing: This is mandatory before and after students visit with dogs
Parking: Free parking by the office.
